Food doesn’t begin in the kitchen.
It begins with the people we never meet, and the land they refuse to give up on. A cinematic documentary project about the Food Heroes from Costa Blanca and beyond.
Somewhere between the soil and the plate, we forgot the people and the roots behind it. We care about what we eat, but we almost never ask: who makes this possible?
But some people never forgot. A beekeeper in the hills above the sea who reads the health of wildflowers by tasting his honey. A farmer growing rice varieties the rest of the world abandoned decades ago. A baker who built a stone oven, because he wanted bread to taste like memory.
Almost nobody is telling their stories, but we will.
Understanding where our food comes from is fundamental. Farmers, foragers, fishers are the real heroes, yet almost nobody celebrates them or talks about what they are doing, or why they do it. That is why we created our project: to give them their voice and bring them on stage.

At the heart of the project is a documentary series with cinematic language. No narrator. No host. Only Food Heroes telling their own stories, in their own language. Around the films grows an educational platform: photo reportages, in-depth articles and learning materials on regenerative agriculture, seed heritage, traditional crafts and the chefs who connect them to our tables.
